  If the CDBR braking unit is not operating on your YASKAWA Controller, consider the following: * A master unit may be incorrectly set as a slave device without a master unit present. Properly set the CDBR braking unit Master/Slave selection DIP switch S2, and ensure that the master LED (green) is illuminated on the master CDBR unit. * The braking activation switch position could be incorrect. Check brake activation level switch S3 for the proper setting. When using slave units, observe the Master and Slave LEDs; they should blink when the CDBR is activating. * The braking unit may be damaged. In this case, replace the CDBR braking unit.
