6.1 Possible Failures at Preparation of the CF

Failure 2: “NG” appears on the window when the data is written
into the CF.
No. Cause Remedy
1 No CF is inserted into the
CF reader/writer.
Insert a CF into the CF reader/writer.
2 No USB is inserted into the
USB slot.
Insert a USB into the USB slot.
3 The capacity of the CF/
USB is insufficient.
Click the drive of the relevant removable
disc on the personal computer, and delete
all the data and files in the CF/USB. Then,
try to write-in the data to the CF/USB
again.
4 The CF recommended by
Yaskawa design division is
not used.
Recommended CF
Refer to Chapter 3 Programming Pendant
Setup
5 The CF/USB is defective. Replace the CF/USB with a new one.
Displays the file where a file
copy error has occurred.
