5.4.2 Error Detection Function
5.4 Protection Functions
The SERVOPACK is equipped with various functions to protect the driver and motor from damage.
5.4.1 Dynamic Brake Function
The SERVOPACK is equipped with a dynamic brake for emergency stops. The brake is operated
for any of the following conditions.
When an alarm occurs (error 'detection)
When the servo receives SV_OFF command
When power is turned OFF
5.4.2 Error Detection Function
Tabl e . 5.2 shows the error detection function in the SERVOPACK. Alarm details can be checked
by MECHATROLINK communication and SVALM output.
