2. Press the DSS key again to deactivate the group listening mode.
Hold
You can use this key feature to place an active call on hold or retrieve a held call.
Dependencies:
Soft key action (Hold)
Label (key label displayed on the LCD screen)
Usage:
1. Press the DSS key during an active call to place the call on hold.
2. Press the DSS key again to retrieve the held call.
Intercom/PTT
You can use this key feature to quickly connect with the operator or the secretary. For more
information on how to configure intercom and push-to-talk, refer to Intercom and Push-to-Talk
on page 57.

Soft key action (Intercom/PTT)
Line (the account this feature will be applied to)
Number (t

Usage:
1. Press the DSS key to automatically connect with a pre-configured target extension for
outgoing intercom calls
2. If the push-to-talk mode is enabled, long press the DSS key to automatically connect with
a pre-configured target extension for outgoing intercom calls, and you need to keep
pressing the DSS key during the call and release it to end the call.
KeyPad Lock
You can use this key feature to lock your phone temporarily when you are not using it. To use
this key, you need to enable the keypad lock feature in advance. For more information on how
to configure the keypad lock, refer to Keypad Lock on page 33.
Dependencies:
Soft key action (KeyPad Lock)
Label (key label displayed on the LCD screen)
Usage: Press the DSS key to lock the phone immediately when the phone is idle.
Last Caller ID Erasure
You can use this key feature to delete the record of the last received call. This is provided for
privacy reasons. This will also clear all call lists from the CommPortal feature. This feature will
not clear any call lists from the phone.
