Managing Conference Participants
You can manage conference participants in the following ways:
Mute a participant
Hold a participant
Remove a participant from the conference
Note
You cannot manage conference participants on W60B/W80B phones.
Do the following during the conference call, do the following:
1. Press the Manage soft key.
2. Do one of the following:
Press the Far Mute soft key to mute the party. The muted party can hear everyone,
but no one can hear the muted party.
Press the Far Hold soft key to hold the party. The held party cannot hear anyone, and
no one can hear the held party.
Press the Remove soft key to remove the party from the conference call.
Press the Back soft key to return to the previous screen.
Configuring Transfer On Conference Hang up
If the conference initiator drops the conference call, the remaining parties stay connected by
default. You can disable the Transfer On Conference Hang up feature, so that the conference call
ends when conference initiator drops the conference call.
Note
For W60B/W80B phones, the remaining parties stay connected when the conference
initiator drops the conference call, which cannot be changed via CommPortal phone
configurator.
To configure the transfer on conference hang up feature via the CommPortal phone
configurator:
1. Click Features->Transfer.
2. Mark the desired radio box in the Transfer on Conference Hang up field.
- If you select Enabled, the other two parties remain connected when the conference
initiator drops the conference call.
