Mounting the Diaphragm Seals
IMPORTANT
• Pleaseuseagasketwithaninsidediameter(ød)
thatisgreaterthanthediameterofthediaphragm
seal.Ifagasketwithasmallerinsidediameteris
used,thediaphragmmaynotfunctioncorrectly.
• Duringthediaphragmsealinstallation,ensureas
faraspossiblethatnosealliquidheadpressureis
appliedtothediaphragmseals.
• Exercisecaresoasnottodamagediaphragm
surfaces.Sincethediaphragmprotrudesapprox.
1mmfromtheangesurface,donotplacethe
pressure detector section face down on a surface
asthiscandamagethediaphragm.
• Donotsharplybendortwistcapillarytubeorapply
excessivestresstothem.
• Neverloosenthefourboltssecuringthecover
angeorthescrewsatthejointsbetweenthe
capillarytubeandcoveranges.Ifthesealliquid
leaks,thetransmittercannotbeused.
