9 Disconnecting the Inverter from Voltage Sources
Prior to performing any work on the inverter, disconnect it from all voltage sources
as described in this section. Always adhere strictly to the prescribed sequence.
Procedure:
1. Disconnect the miniature circuit- breaker and secure against reconnection.
2. Disconnect the DC switch and secure against reconnection.
3. Use a current clamp meter to ensure that no current is present in the DC
cables.
4. Release and remove all DC connectors. Insert a flat-blade screwdriver or an
angled screwdriver (blade width: 3.5 mm) into one of the slide slots and pull
the DC connectors out downwards. Do not pull on the cable.
5. Ensure that no voltage is present at the DC inputs of the inverter.
6. Loosen the screws of the cover using a screwdriver (T25) and remove the
cover.
Danger to life due to high voltages
The capacitors in the inverter take 5 minutes to discharge.
• Wait 5 minutes before opening the cover.
Destruction of the measuring device due to overvoltage
• Only use measuring devices with a DC input voltage range of 600 V or
higher.
