11.4 Known side effects
Possible side-effects have been rarely reported in total during the application of this type of
therapy and were not of a serious nature. It is important to note that they are related to the
type of therapy, not to the device itself:
• Transient aggravation of symptoms
• Dizziness
• Erythema
• Itching
• Flaking skin
11.5 Information for the therapist
Pregnant therapists should not operate the device.
Operating personnel should maintain a distance of at least 1.5m during emission of HF en-
ergy.
