4 Configure the Internet
forward IPv6 multicast based on the relationship. In the upstream device's view, H3140
(also called MLD proxy device) with the MLD proxy function is no longer an IPv6 PIM
neighbor, but only a host.
Steps
1. On the main page of the H3140, select Internet > Multicast > MLD to the MLD
page, see Figure 4-25.

2. Enable the MLD functions, see Table 4-19.

Parameter Description
Proxy MLD The system serves as a proxy server to forward MLD packets from
the MDU/DSLAM to other devices.
3. Click Apply button to apply the changes.
