DHCPOverview
TheDynamicHostCongurationProtocol(DHCP)enablesthehosttorequestdynamic
addressesfromtheserver.
TheZXR105250DHCPfunctionincludesthefollowingcontents:
TheDHCPsnoopingfunctionpreventsbogusDHCPserversfrombeingdeployedinthe
network,andinthiscase,theportconnectingtoDHCPservermustbesettoatrusted
port.Besides,thedynamicARPinspectiontechnologycanbeusedtogethertoprevent
illegalIPandMACaddressbinding,thusensuringnormalassignmentofIPaddresses
bytheDHCPserver.DHCPSnoopingandOption82aredesignedtosolvethesesafety
problems.DHCPSnooping,namelyDHCPpacketltering,istodetectlegalityofDHCP
packetsbasedonsomespecialrulesandlterillegalpackets.UseOption82techniqueto
providemoreadditionalinformation,andthenstrengthenthenetworksafetyability.
IntheDHCPservicesystem,theZXR105250seriesswitchesareprovidedwithalotof
