andtheDHCPRelayimplementstheresponsetotheIPaddressrequestsfromtheClient.
Forthis,theDHCPRelayAgentneedstointerceptontheinterceptionportoftheDHCP
Server.FromtheviewoftheDHCPServer,theDHCPRelayAgentcanbeconsidered
asitsDHCPClientandtheDHCPRelayinitiatesIPaddressrequests.Forthis,theIP
addressoftheinterfacethroughwhichmessagesarereceivedmustbelledintheRelay
AgenteldoftheDHCPrequestmessagesforwardedbytheDHCPRelay.
TheDHCPServerchecksthevalidityoftheRelayAgentdomainandallocatesanIP
addresstotheDHCPClientthatisinthesamesubnetastheIPaddressinaccordance
withthedomainvalue.ThismeansthattheallocatedIPaddressandtheIPaddressof
theinterfacethroughwhichtheRelayreceivesrequestmessagesareinthesamenetwork
