3. 1 Topology
A radio system supplies a specific area. This area is known as the supply range. In
practice, different independent DECT systems may exist. A cordless phone can be
logged on in up to four autonomous DECT systems. The supply ranges for these in-
dependent DECT radio systems can also overlap.
