6.4 Transfer
The Xfer key is Key 5 by default.

Unannounced transfer:
When you transfer a call directly to another party and complete the transfer without consulting
with the receiving party, it is called an unannounced transfer.

You are already connected to the call to
transfer.
2.
Press the Transfer key.
 The calling party is placed on hold.
 You hear dial tone.
3.
Enter the number of the destination party.
The number is automatically dialed.

You can use the Dial softkey for
numbers that are not in your dial plan.

Before the destination party answers:
 Press Transfer again.
Or
 Press the Goodbye key.
Or
 Hang up.
The transfer completes.
Call Transferred

Announced Transfer:
Transfer a call to another party and remain on the line to talk to the other party before you
complete the transfer. After consultation, you can either complete the transfer or go back to the
original caller.
