9.12.8 Configuring in the iPBX
9.12.8.1 Declaring SIP phones in the iPBX
The use of SIP phones is subject to an ‘IP phone’ software key.
You do not have to declare any general-purpose subscriber.
Declaring an SIP subscriber on NCS or NeXspan C/S/L/D:
In TELEPHONY MANAGEMENT:
> EXTENSION DATA
>LOGICAL SUBSCRIBER MANAGEMENT
> CREATE LOGICAL SUBSCRIBERS
9.12.8.2 Configuring coding law associated to SIP phone
In TELEPHONY MANAGEMENT:
>PARAMETERS MANAGEMENT
>VOICE OVER IP CODING LAW
Select the set type: SIP
Validate by ’Enter’ to install coding law desired according to the available band-width and the
required voice quality(A729 priority 1, A711 priority 2 for example).
Control the coding laws application:
In TELEPHONY MANAGEMENT:
>PARAMETERS MANAGEMENT
>DISPLAY OF THE CODING LAWS
