4.8.1 Main features

• 60 programmable keys, virtually accessible on the screen,
• an alphabetical keyboard allowing search by name on the screen,
• enhanced user-friendliness,
• additional features: calculator, memo,
• "Hands free" function, full duplex with LED indicator,
• mute function with LED indicator,
• message/call indicator lamp,
• direct voice mail recall by R key (in standby),
• call logs (10 outgoing calls, 50 incoming calls),
• internal directory of 200 numbers with associated functions (lists, distinctive ringing, etc.),
• specific headset socket
• emergency call mode without mains power.
As of software version R4.1, the ergonomics of the M780 is enriched with the following functions:
• Incoming emergency mode, without mains power: fixed and non adjustable ringing,
• alarm pictogram for direct access to an active program key,
• screen saver, access via Config \ Screen \ Saver timeout,
• signalling the call of a caller included in a list with ring off,
• dynamic zoom on virtual program keys (x12) and scrolling by 12-key pages,
• choice of static home page: Welcome message + 6 keys + menu or full page with 12 keys only.

4.8.3 Options
Three extension modules can be connected to the M780:
• either 3 M700/M710s,
• or 2 M700/M710s + 1 M705/M715.
