Installing the EtherNet/IP Interface CI873
The CI873 is powered from the processor unit through the CEX-Bus, which requires
no additional external power source.
Follow the steps below to install CI873:
1. Mount the unit onto the DIN-rail.
2. Connect the 100 Mbps Ethernet twisted pair cable to the CH1 connector on the
baseplate.
3. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Fast Ethernet network
through the standard Ethernet components.
