Ethernet Network cabling system according to IEEE802.3.
Ethernet Address The term Ethernet address is often used in extended
meaning to refer to the hardware addresses of not only
Ethernet (IEEE 802.3) hardware, but also Wireless
(IEEE 802.11) hardware, and FDDI (ISO 9314), see also
MAC-address.
