this manual concerning the corresponding -5 types applies to them.
Output Current
Temperature Derating
The output current is calculated by multiplying the current given in the
rating table by the derating factor.
Temperature derating factor for degree of protection IP 21/22:
General rule:
Above +40 °C (104 °F), the rated output current is
decreased 3.5 % for every additional 1 °C up to +50 °C (1.94% for
every additional 1 °F up to 122 °F).
Example 1.
If the ambient temperature is 50 °C the derating factor is
100 % - 3.5 · 10 °C = 65 % or 0.65. The output current is then
0.65 ·

Derating factor for ACx 600 in Pump and Fan Use (I
Nsq
rating):
Above +40 °C (104 °F) (+35 °C/95 °F for ACx 601-120-03 units),
the rated output current is decreased 5 % for every additional 1 °C
up to +50 °C (2.78% for every additional 1 °F up to 122 °F).
Derating factor for ACx 601 with degree of protection IP 54:
From +25 °C (77°F) to +40 °C (104 °F), the output current is
calculated using the table below.
Above +40 °C (104 °F), the output current is decreased 3.5 % for
every additional 1 °C up to +50 °C (1.94% for every additinoal 1 °F
up to 122 °F).
Example 1
. If the ambient temperature is 38 °C, the derating factor
for ACx 601-0006-3 is 95 % or 0.95 (Curve 2). The output current is
then 0.95 ·
