Accessing the Web UI via hostname
Host name: insite, Port: 8000
To be added to the IP address to define the port number (e.g. 192.168.1.200:8000) to access your web
browser. Defining the port number is important because without a port number access is not possible.
In case of DHCP, the system administrator can read the IP address assigned to the SCU100 device by
DHCP on the router.
Direct LAN connection
For network connection, an access with static address may be necessary in the first step.
IP Address: 192.168.1.200:8000 / Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
The control unit is set up using a web interface. To connect a PC or laptop to the SCU100 without DHCP,
you need to configure the LAN interface with a static IP address. Using the example of Windows, the
following shows the configuration steps.
