Handling gearbox oil involves several safety risks. Before
proceeding, please read the safety information in the
section Safety risks during work with gearbox lubricants
(oil or grease) on page 39.

Valid for IRB 2400L/5 kg4
Fill oil in the plug hole (A) located on the tilt housing (axis
5) until the oil reaches up to oil plug (B) in the front of the
wrist.
Valid for IRB 2400/10/16 kg5
Fill oil in the plug hole (A) located on the tilt housing (axis
5) until the oil reaches up to the hole located on the side
of the wrist.
Note
If the robot is mounted in suspension, the wrist should be
turned 180°.

Refit the oil plugs to the wrist.7
