to the robot, before entering the robot working
area.

Remove the rear cover plate from the robot by
removing its attachment screws.

Disconnect the earth cable.4

Disconnect the connectors R1.MP and R1.SMB.5

A: Cable guide ax 2
Unscrew the screws of the cable guide axis 2
inside the lower arm and loosen the cable
guide.

Shown in Location of cable harness -
lower end (axes 1-3) on page 150.
Unscrew the screws in the metal clamps hold-
ing the cable harness in the frame and lower
arm.

Unscrew the screws of the motor covers for
axes 1, 2 and 3 and lift away the covers. This
is done in order to reach the motor connectors.
