Open the atmospheric vent valve.
Click on the Low Cal Point button.
Verify the Current Reading is continuously updated.
Click OK when the current reading stablizes, or enter a different value.
Click OK.
Press enter when the previous reading was accepted, notice that the 100% Cal Point button becomes highlighted.
Press Enter to accept the value.
Connect the Calibration Standard to calibration test port.
Close the high side equalizer valve.
Pressure to 100% of the transducer range (100% of target value).
Click OK When the current reading stabilizes to accept the target value already showing in the window, or enter the
pressure value from the calibration source.
Click OK.
Press Enter to select the next calibration point.
Pressure the transducer to the next target value as shown in the calibration window.
Click OK when the current reading stablizes accept the target value already showing in the window, or enter the
pressure value from the calibration source.
Click OK.
Repeat steps 16 through 18 until all calibration points have been entered.
Return the manifold to service before exiting calibration mode.
The transducer is now calibrated. New calibration markers should be set. Exiting calibration mode will remove the Flow
Computer from hold.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For additional information regarding Differential Pressure Calibration Mode, see PCCU
Help Files.
6.14 On-Board I/O Calibration Overview
The calibration mode enables the calibration of the analog inputs, analog outputs (TFIO Module) and pulse inputs.
6.14.1 Hold Mode
When calibrating, PCCU will instruct the flow computer to ignore live values for the period of time the flow computer is being
calibrated. This prevents real time calculations from being affected during the calibration. During this time the flow computer
uses the last known value at the time calibration mode was entered. (This is called the “HOLD” mode.)
To exit the Hold mode:
Exit the calibration mode.
Unplug the PCCU cable at local connector.
6.14.2 Calibrating On-Board Analog Input
The Totalflow XFC
G4
comes standard with 2 analog inputs on the board. As you enter calibration, the flow computer enters the
Hold Mode and displays the current values.
The Current Values section will display the current values continuously by checking the Update box. When different analog
inputs are selected, their assigned register numbers are displayed on the top of the screen.
