6.2.1 Guide spiral liner
To be used for steel wires.
1 Lay down the hose assembly (9) straight.
2 Unscrew gas nozzle (10) and contact tip (11) from torch neck (2).
3 Unscrew spigot nut (6) from central plug (4).
4 Slide wire guide (8) through the wire feed hose (3) up to the holder
nipple (7).
5 Screw down spigot nut (6) by hand.
6 Cut off the excess length of the guide spiral liner (8) flush with the
torch neck (2) or the tip adaptor (1).
7 Unscrew spigot nut (6) and pull out guide spiral liner (8).
8 Sharpen the spiral guide liner beginning to an angle of approx. 40° and
debur the edge.
9 Slide sharpened guide spiral liner (8) through the wire feed hose (3) up to
the holder nipple (7).
10 Screw down union nut (6) and tighten with multiple wrench (5).
11 Screw in contact tip (11) and attach gas nozzle (10).
