6 Putting into operation MT/AUT/AUT RAB
6.2.2 PA liner
PA liners = for aluminium, copper, nickel and stainless steels
1 Sharpen the beginning of the PA liner (9) to approx. 40° with the
ABICOR BINZEL sharpener (10).
2 Slide PA liner (9) through the wire feed hose (1) until a noticeable
resistance is felt in the contact tip.
3 Slide clamp nipple (8), O-ring (8) and union nut (3) on the PA liner (9) and
tighten the union nut (3) under tension.
4 Mark a PA liner (9) that is too long in front of the wire feed rollers.
5 Cut the PA liner (9) at the mark with the ABICOR BINZEL cutter (5) .
6 Sharpen the cutting point.

• For PA liners of outer diameter 4.00 mm, the capillary tube in the
intermediate joining section must be replaced by a guide tube.
