Problem Cause Solution
Torch becomes too hot Contact tip / Tip adapter loose Check and tighten
Torch becomes too hot Power connections loose on the
torch side and toward the work-
piece
Coolant flow too low
Check and tighten
Check cooling system, increase
coolant flow
Wire burned solid in the
contact tip
Wrong parameters set
Worn-out contact tip
