5.4 Auto-Zero Operation
Auto-zero function eliminates the offset error in the measurement system of this instrument.
Set Auto-zero in ‘A.Zero’ in in .
If Auto-zero is set to ON, the internal offset is measured and the offset error is eliminated because the offset
is subtracted from the input measurement value. However, the measurement time is doubled.
Auto-zero is performed at the current measurement range in the measurement function and range shown in
the following table.
While no measurement is performed, Auto-zero is performed under the following conditions.
• The power is turned on.
• The setting is changed to a function in which Auto-zero is performed.
If the high-speed or high-throughput measurement is required, Auto zero can be performed only once accord-
ing to the measurement condition or measurement timing.
