3.2.3.2 – Configuration Settings Display Area
The lower panel of the OIW EX software displays key configuration data for quick reference. The previous sections have
referenced this display area therefore only a brief overview and any additional information will be provided. The system
parameters included in this display area, labeled in Figure 74, are detailed below.
NOTE: The display will change based on individual user configurations of the analyzer.

1. Measure Cycle, 2. Alarm Settings (measurement unit), 3. Active Oil Type for Line #, 4. Line # Next Spectra,
5. Averaging and 6. Serial number, software version, corporate logo, asset tag # and start/stop button
3.2.3.2.1 – Measure Cycle
The ‘Measure Cycle’ displays information in 2 columns for the cycle phases and time. The current measurement cycle
phase will be highlighted in white while the Stopped state only is red. The user configured time parameters for each
phase will be displayed in the time column. To configure these items see Section 3.2.3.1.2 – Schedule Configuration
Options Menu p. 43.
3.2.3.2.2 – Alarm Settings
The Alarm Settings will display in brackets the measurement unit along with the user configured alarm parameters.
These include, but not limited to, values for measurements out of range, upper and / or lower thresholds, clearing limit
and alarm persistence. To configure alarms see Section 3.2.3.1.3 – Alarms Configuration Menu p. 45.
3.2.3.2.3 – Active Oil Type
Label 3 in Figure 74 displays the current active oil type for the process line. If more than one line is used this display
would change to reflect the line number. To configure active oil types see Section 3.2.3.1.5 – Oil Type Configuration
Menu p.50.
