OPERATION MANUAL
Rev. 004 MAY 2015
The Data section of the data file contains all the measurement data and any additional system information. The data
values cannot be amended or changed on the analyzer PC. Data
There are 8 different information columns as follows:
1. Time: time the reading was taken in Hours, Mins and Seconds format;
2. ppm: the PPM value for reading time;
3. ppmC: the compensated PPM value (this column will be blank if trending compensation is not enabled);
4. Raw / Flu: the raw florescence data value from which the PPM value was derived;
5. Temp in C/F: the temperature of the sample chamber in degrees Celsius or Farenheight.
6. AvMea: the AVerage MEAsured value – the average data value. A measurement is taken, displayed and
written to the log file for every second during the flowing phase. At the end of the flowing phase the system
latches the last displayed value – the displayed value is fixed at the last measurement value before the valve
closes. During the measurement phase the measured values are written to the log file but only the averaged
value is displayed on screen.
7. State – indicates the phase of the measurement cycle in which the reading was taken. Phases are abbreviated
to three letters as below:
ABBREVIATION: PHASE: ABBREVIATION: PHASE:
HOM Homogenisation FRE Frequency tuning
SET Settling CLO Valve closing
MEA Measuring OPE Valve opening
FLU Flushing FLO Flowing
HOL Holding CLE Cleaning
8. Comments: the last column(s) will provide additional information as required. Comments can be as follows:
Overall Comments:
SW START the software was started
START the start button was pressed
STOPPED the stop button was pressed
Ultrasonics Related Comments:
Fset<frequency> the homogenisation frequency was updated to this value
ATEnd Frequency tuning has ended

The Measurement comment reflects the units of measure for which the OIW Monitors has been configured; i.e. if the OIW Monitor
has been configure to measure parts per billion then the comments will be PPBalrm, PPBack, PPBclr and PPBOOR respectfully.
