Remove the CD Drive
Shutdown the System
1. Power off the system controller. (Prior to powering off, close any 5DX error boxes
and interface screens that may be open and exit from the 5DX interface.)
2. Power off the expansion chassis.
3. Unplug the power cord from the back of the IPC system controller.

Remove the New CD RW Drive
1. Unplug the ultra ATA 133 cable and the 4 pin power cable from the new CD RW
drive.
2. Remove the new CD RW drive
3. Plug the ultra ATA 133 cable and the 4 pin power cables back into the DVD drive.

Returning the 1.0 Ghz IPC Controller to the Electronics Bay
1. Replace the top cover of the system controller.
