Backup the system specific files in the directories to a network or a CD RW Drive.
Backup System Specific Files to a Network or a CD RW Drive
1. On your Windows desktop, open Windows Explorer.
2. Locate the above directories.
3. Copy the directories from their current location and paste them to a CD RW Drive or
a network location.
4. Repeat until all of the directories have been copied.
5. Close Windows Explorer.
Change the BIOS Setting
Setup the 2.8 Ghz IPC Controller BIOS Configurations
Note: Table 2 (BIOS Settings for a 2.8 Ghz IPC Controller ) documents the appropriate BIOS settings to run Windows XP
on a 2.8Ghz IPC controller.

1. Reboot the controller
2. On boot up, at the initial startup screen, press the <DEL> key. This will enter you
into "Setup Utility". (This happens very quickly.)
Check and Change the Multiprocessor (MP) BIOS Setting
3. Once in "Setup Utility", go to the “Advanced” tab.
4. In the “Advanced” tab, select “Boot Features”
