Error messages
The red status LED indicates an error condition (FAIL status).
It is possible to know which error conditions occurred through RS232/485 serial
communication (Error Code window).
To reset an error, the pump can be switched off and on again or, if operating via
serial communication, the reset can be obtained by issuing a STOP command.
If the error conditions persist, the FAIL will come back as soon as the pump is
restarted.
RS 232/RS 485 Communication Description
The communication protocol is the same (see the details below), but only the RS
485 manages the address field. The pump is factory set to communicate through
RS 232 interface. In order to communicate through RS485 is necessary to select
the type of communication as well as the device address by means of the A-plus
software.
Communication format
8 data bit
no parity
1 stop bit
baud rate: 600/1200/2400/4800/9600 programmable
Communication protocol
The communication protocol is a MASTER/SLAVE type where:
Host = MASTER
Controller = SLAVE
The communication is performed in the following way:
1 the host (MASTER) send a MESSAGE + CRC to the controller (SLAVE);
2 the controller answer with an ANSWER + CRC to the host.
