moisture
condensation
If
the
temperature
of
the
room

stereo
system
is
placed
is
suddenly
increased,

if
the
system
is
trans-
ported
from
a
cold
location
to
a
warm
one,
condensation
(tiny
droplets
of
water)
may
form
on
the
MD
recorder/CD
player's
laser
pickup
lens
or
the
cassette
deck’s
transport
section
(such
as
capstan
and
heads),
preventing
correct
playback.
If
excess
condensation
forms
on
the
compact
disc
or
inside
the
CD
player/MD
recorder,
operation
of
the
CD
player/MD
recorder
will
not
resume
until
the
con-
densation
has
had
ample
time
to
dissipate.
If
condensa-
tion
forms
inside
the
cassette
deck,
the
tape
will
stick
to
the
heads
and
be
ruined,
or
it
will
not
be
transported
prop-
erly.
In
either
case
wait
30
minutes
to
one
hour
before
using
the
stereo
system.

the
cabinet
clean

Clean
the
cabinet
with
a
soft,
dry
cloth.

If
the
cabinet
is
excessively
dirty,
clean
it
with
a
mild
detergent.

Never
use

In
case
of
malfunction
A
large
amount
of
static
electricity
may
cause
this
stereo
component
system
to
malfunction
or
stop
functioning
com-
pletely.
In
this
case,
the
micro-processor
must
be
re-set
to
its
initial
operating
mode
as
follows.
Unplug
the
power
cord
from
your
household
AC
out-
let
for
at
least
1
minutes,
then
reconnect
it.
The
micro-processor
will
be
reset.
