the example below. Additionally, you may want to store the TiMOS image on the internal flash if
you want to boot from the flash later.
You will need the following:
A FTP server
TiMOS image
A PC with a serial port and Hyperterminal
Cable that connects the console port of 7210 SAS-M to the serial port of PC
A network cable to connect the 7210 unit to the network
Prepare the set up as shown in the diagram above. Ensure that the console settings are set as shown
in Console Connection on page 65.
When you are done, power on the 7210 SAS-M.
Using the uplink port to boot 7210 from the network:
