Changing System Options
When System Options is selected from the
System menu, the following menu displays.
SYSTEM OPTIONS
USER IDs - DISABLED
MENU CALLUP
MESSAGES TO PROG MONITOR - N
PRINTER MESSAGES
ALARM - Y
VIDEO LOSS -Y
POWER STATUS - Y
MENU MONITOR - Y
PREVIOUS MENU
Use this menu to enable or disable User ID
passcode login, video input for menu call-up, and
printer message display options.
Enabling/Disabling User IDs
The User IDs setting enables or disables the
keyboard Passcode Login. The default setting is
DISABLED (operator login is not required).
To enable or disable the User IDs setting:
1. Move the cursor to User IDs.
2. Press the Enter (Preset) key to change the
setting:
Select DISABLED if passcode login is not
required.
Select ENABLED if passcode login is
required.
3. When finished making changes, press Exit
(Patrn) to return to the previous menu.
Note: To take advantage of this setting, User IDs
and passcodes must be configured using the
Users/Keyboard menu. The setting for User IDs
does not take effect until exiting Menu mode.
Configuring Automatic Menu Call-up
The Menu Callup setting identifies which video
input is connected to Prog Mon video output. This
allows the menus to be displayed automatically on
the selected monitor whenever the keyswitch is
turned to the MENU position. The default setting is
blank (no video input is connected).
To configure the Menu Callup setting:
1. Move the cursor to Menu Callup.
2. Use the numeric keypad to enter the camera
number (1-180) of the input that is connected to
PROG MON output.
3. Press the Enter (Preset) key to save the camera
number.
4. When finished making changes, press Exit
(Patrn) to return to the previous menu.
Displaying Messages on the Program
Monitor
The Messages to Prog Monitor setting determines
if the printer messages relating to alarms, video
loss, power status, and menu monitor are displayed
on the Program Monitor. The default setting is No.
To display printer messages on the program
monitor:
1. Move the cursor to MESSAGES TO PROG
MONITOR.
2. Press the Enter (Preset) key to toggle the
settings:
Select Y (yes) to display printer messages on
PROG MON output.
Select N (no) to disable display of printer
messages on the PROG MON output.
3. When finished making changes, press Exit
(Patrn) to return to the previous menu.
