monitor screen. Depending upon the camera type,
you may be able to control the pan, tilt, zoom, focus,
and iris settings.
Locking Cameras and Domes
Cameras can be “locked” to prevent other keyboard
operators from controlling their movements. If a
camera is locked, other operators with the same or
lower priority will be able to view the camera, but will
not be able to control its pan, tilt, zoom, focus, iris,
preset, and auxiliary functions. When an operator
calls a camera that has been locked out, the word
“LOCK” appears on the monitor’s status line.
An operator with a higher priority level than the
operator who locked the camera can gain control of
the camera.
The F1 key (located below the Site display) is used
to lock or unlock the selected camera.
