Cummins (the engine manufacturer) recommends the use
of
ASTM
No.2
diesel fuel.
At
operating-temperatures below 32°, acceptable performance can
be
obtained by using blends
of
No. 2 and
No.1
dieselfuels. The use oflighter
fuels can reduce fuel economy.
