CAUTION
Do notal.low your motor home to be towed without
having
th..etow-truck
operator
read this section and
related
sections
of the Chassis Owner's Manual.
Always comply with all state and local laws when
towing the motor home.
WARNING
DO
NOT crawl
under
or
place any
part
of
your
body
under a vehicle
that
is
being lifted. Stand clear
of
ail
towing
equipment and
the
vehicle being lifted.
If
your motor home needs to-be towed, please use the following guidelines:
See the
Chassis Owner's Manual. The vehicle MUST
be
towed from the
front:
CAUTION
Do not
tow
the motor home from the rear.Towing
from
the_rear will cause serious overloading
of
the
front
tires
and
suspension, possibly resulting
in
tire
or front suspension failure.
Tow truck operators v.:illing and able to tow motor homes will
be
familiar--
with the-type
of
device required to tow your motor home.
Be
prepared to give the tow truck operator at least the following information
when you call:
length and height
of
motor home
chassis manufacturer
gross vehicle weight rating
