PNEUMATIC STEPWELL COVER

Your motor home is equipped with an air ope;ated slideout stepwell cover.
The stepwell
cover closes off the stepwel1 area whfm you are traveling. When
the
cover
is extended, it provides a floor surface for the front
Seat
passenger.

If
the chassis air storage tanks contain less than 90 psi air pressure, the
stepwell cover will not function, Check the air pressure on
therur
pressure
gauge on the driver's instrument panel.

Do
not
operate the. pneumatic
stepwellcover
while
anyone
is
positioned
in
the stepwell. A person
standing
in
the stepwell could lose their balance and
fali
if
thestepweil
cover
is
operated. !
WARNING
Feet, legs, .hands, and
other
body
parts couid be
. pinched
or
injured during,stepwe!i cover operation.
Keep clear
of
the stepweii cover clluing operation.
Stepwell Cover Operption
1.
The stepwell cover control is located on the passenger side
of
the dash.
2.
To
extend the cover, press and release the bottom
of
the switch.
3.
To
retract
the
cover,
ptessand
release the top
of
the switch.
4. The stepwell
cover can
be
pushed in manually to retract.
To
retract the
cover manually:

a.
Be sure that the
dash_airpressureg~uge
shows no pressure (0
psi)
.

b.
The top surface
of
the cover
~hould
drop a couple
of
inches.
If
it
doesn't, move it slightly
by-hand.
c.
Push the cover
into
the retracted position.
