DRIVER'S
CHECK
AT
START-UP
Perform the following test:
1.
Turn ignition switch
ON.
The
anti-lockwarni~g
lamp should come on,

again.

2. Drive the vehicle at a speed above 6 mph (10 km/h). The anti-lock
warning
lamp should go
out.If
the lamp fails to come on, or is on continuously
. above 6 mph-UO km/h), the anti-lock system is faulty. In this case, normal
braking is still available.

CAUTION
In
order
to
ensure
that
system
performance and
reliability
is
preserved, all
service
intervals and
procedures
must
be followed when
carrying
out_
maintenance and-repairs: Only original
equipment
approved
service
should
be
used.
CAUTION
.on
vehicles fitted
with
retarders, the.retarder
must
be
inhibited
during
anti-lock
operation. An
output
is
provided
to
drive
a relay
to
inhibit
the
retarder .
