Setpoint
The control setpoint for each temperature zone (°C). This value is the
temperature control setpoint at which an alarm Warning or Fault will
be set and displayed in the software, and is used to alert the operator to
analyzer operating conditions.
Kp (band)**
The proportional term of the PI temperature control algorithm for each
temperature zone.
Ti (sec)**
The integral term of the PI temperature control algorithm for each tem-
perature zone (seconds).
Startup (%)
The duty cycle used on start-up for each temperature zone during
steady-state operation at the setpoint.
Too Cold
This is an alarm temperature setpoint for each temperature zone. If the
current temperature of the zone falls below its Too Cold setpoint, it will
cause the analyzer to default to an alarm state.
Too Hot
This is an alarm temperature setpoint for each temperature zone. If the
current temperature of the zone exceeds its Too Hot setpoint, it will
cause the analyzer to default to an alarm state.
Temperature
The current temperature for each temperature zone.
Duty Cycle (%)
The current duty cycle for each temperature zone during steady-state
operation at the setpoint.
Alarm Indicator
The alarm indicator box displays active temperature-related alarms.
If any alarms are active, see “Diagnostics and Troubleshooting” in
Chapter 6 for details about the alarm and corrective action to take to
reset the alarm.
