8.1 Fuel Dilution Curve
The measurement of fuel dilution in diesel engines is one of the strongest features of MINIFLASH FP(H) VISION.
The flash point of used engine oil is a very good measure of the diesel contamination.
The lower the flash point of the specimen, the higher the contamination.
The relationship between flash point and fuel dilution is non-linear and has to be evaluated experimentally.
