8.3.2. Functional earthing
When installing the flow meter in the remote version the proper connection of the earth
housings of both the converter and the sensor must be ensured. The housing of
the converter should always be connected to the housing of the sensor and attached to
the earth point of the sensor as illustrated in the figures below, and the earth point of
the sensor should be connected to a metal pipeline or to earthing rings in the case of non-
conductive pipelines.
