• Check the chain for wear.
If the chain is worn:
• Change the drivetrain kit.
New chains wear out faster on old, worn sprockets.
The engine sprocket, rear sprocket, and chain should always be replaced together.
When a new chain is mounted, the rear sprocket and engine sprocket should also be changed.
• Check the chain sliding guard for wear.
If the lower edge of the chain pins is in line with or
below the chain sliding guard:
• Change the chain sliding guard.
• Check that the chain sliding guard is firmly seated.
If the chain sliding guard is loose:
• Tighten the screws on the chain sliding guard.

11.27 Checking the frame
Always replace a frame that has been damaged due to a mechanical impact. Repair of the
frame is not authorized by Apollo.
• Check the frame for cracks and deformation.
If the frame exhibits cracks or deformation due to a
mechanical impact:
• Change the frame.
