9.7 Latch assembly- Replace
Open the lid.
Remove 3 screws as shown.
HINT: On early latches, the centre screw can
be accessed through the hole in the
pivot as shown.
Remove the latch assembly.
Position the new latch assembly into the recess
as shown.
Fasten the new latch assembly using the same 3
screws removed in the previous step.
Remove 3 screws
Fit 3 screws
