Configuration of Overlays
1. Select MENU > Monitoring > EVF/Monitor > EVF Overlays.
Select MENU > Monitoring > EVF/Monitor > Monitor Overlays.
Select MENU > Monitoring > SDI > SDI Processing > SDI Overlays.
Following settings are available:
Frame Lines Sets frame lines on or off. Used as a framing reference tool with
typically an image frame, a center mark and aspect ratio. For infor-
mation on setting frame lines, see "Setting frame lines".
Frame Line Shading Applies an outside shading to the area between the frame line and
the remaining active image area.
Center Mark Sets the center mark between Off, Dot, Small Dot, Cross or Small
Cross.
Surround Mask Select to adjust the surround mask settings. If surround view is set
to On, it must be separated from the recorded image area to allow
proper framing, either as black line, colored line, or semi transpar-
ent with 25, 50, 75 or 100% percent opacity (opacity selection is not
available for the MVF-2 flip-out monitor).
Status Info Only for EVF and SDI. Sets camera status overlays between Off,
Overlay (status on the active image), or Safe (status outside the ac-
tive image).
Configuration of Status Info Components
1. Select MENU > Monitoring > EVF/Monitor > EVF Overlays > Status Components.
Select MENU > Monitoring > SDI > SDI Processing > Overlays > Status Components.
2. Following settings are available:
Info 1 Enables/disables the top and bottom section of the status info.
Info 2 Enables/disables the left and right section of the status info.
Timecode Enables/disables display of the timecode on the bottom right of the
image.
Audio Enables/disables display of the audio levels located on the lower
right side of the image.
Lens Data Enables/disables iris and focal length readings.
Lens Focus Distance Sub-option of lens data setting. Enables/disables display of focus
distance readings (19), located on the lower left corner of the im-
age.
UDM Sub-option of lens focus distance setting. Enables/disables display
of distance readings from the Ultrasonic Distance Measure UDM-1
(in combination with LCUBE CUB-1). Located above the lens focus
distance overlay.
