Troubleshooting
The following table contains the most frequent problems and their elimination. If more problems
occur, contact the closest authorised service centre.

Engine does not turn Battery is not inserted correctly. Remove battery and insert correctly.
Engine is not ready for opera-
tion.
Switch the engine to standby.
Automatic switch off. Switch the engine to standby.
Lever engine clutch/engine
brake is not pressed.
Press lever engine clutch/engine brake
towards the handlebar.
Engine Bowden cable not ad-
justed correctly.

Engine is overheated. Let the device cool down.
Air filter is dirty. Maintaining the air filter.
Engine does not tur

switch flashes red
Battery empty or defective. See Charging the battery.
Engine does not turn
or stops, on/off
switch flashes orange
Engine is overloaded. Reduce workload.
Engine does not tur
or stops, on/off
switch flashes red
and green alternately.
Engine malfunction. Authorised service centre.
No drive when drive
lever is actuated
Engine does not turn. Starting the engine.
Drive belt is insufficiently ten-
sioned.
