Information on mowing
Prior to mowing, check the device for com-
pleteness, proper function, and cleanliness. A
dirty air filter causes overheating of the engine
which can result in engine damage.
Frequent engagement and disengagement of
the clutch increases wear of the blade drive
belt and the blade brake. Especially in case of
high grass, clutch engagement leads to over-
load.
To keep the area well maintained, mow fre-
quently and keep the grass short.
Only mow with a sharp and undamaged blade.
Have the blade sharpened and balanced regu-
larly (by authorised service centre).
Do not mow when the grass is wet or when it is
raining. The turf may be damaged and there is
a danger of slipping!
Turn the device around only in already mown
sections. Do not leave the device unattended
while the engine is running.
To avoid blockage during the ejection of grass,
we recommend, for flat terrain, to proceed ac-
cording to the mowing patterns. Mulch is
shredded into much smaller pieces when you
mow the terrain once again in the opposite dir-
ection.
If the grass is extremely high, mow twice at dif-
ferent cutting height settings.
Recommendation for the selection
of the engine speed
Eco
Reduced engine speed for extended battery
life and lower emissions.
Use with lower power requirements or in-
creased service life of the working tool.
Turbo
High engine speed for high performance.
Use with higher power requirements.
