TROUBLESHOOTING
SPECIFICATIONS
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLUTION
The speakers produce a pop sound whenever the power is
turned ON or OFF.
This is normal and is no cause for alarm.
There is no sound when the keyboard is played. Make sure the master volume is set to an appropriate
level. Check if headphones are plugged into the PHONES/
OUTPUT jack. The R1/R2/L voice volume (Mixer) settings
could be set too low. Make sure the voice volumes are set at
appropriate levels.
When using a mobile phone, noise is produced. Using a mobile phone in close proximity to the AK280 may
produce interference. To prevent this, turn off the mobile
phone or use it further away from the AK280.
The auto accompaniment does not play back even when
Sync is in standby and a key is pressed.
You may be trying to start accompaniment by playing a
key in the right hand range of the keyboard. To start the
accompaniment with Sync Start, make sure you play a key in
the left–hand range of the keyboard.
Certain notes sound like they have a wrong pitch. Make sure that the tuning value is set to 0. Press and hold
the [+/YES] and [–/NO] buttons simutaneously, then turn
the power on to set INSTRUMENT to default.
The Harmony function does not operate. Please make sure the Harmony function is on. Harmony
cannot be turned on when a drum kit is selected for the
voice R1.
Note:
If you notice any abnormality that cannot be handled, please contact a provider or repair man, and have the AK280 inspected
by qualified service personnel.
