Trouble on More Than One Voice Terminal
Step 9.
Place an outside call using the standard modular telephone, and make a
note of what happened.

The trouble is no longer present,
The trouble is still present,

The trouble is caused by the con-
trol unit or the expansion module.
Using Step 10, replace the cords as
they were, then go to the “Tel. Co.
Lines Test” in the “Test C: 2-
Line/5-Terminal Expansion
Module Test” section.
Go on to Step 10.
Following Steps A and B below, place the modular line cords back in their
original positions:
A.
Unplug the modular line cord from the standard modular telephone
and plug the cord back into the control unit
Tel. Co. Lines
jack.
B.
Plug the standard modular telephone cord back into the base of the
telephone.
Following Steps A and B below, connect the cord of the standard modular
telephone (or PFTT) to the network interface.

Unplug the standard modular telephone from the control unit (see
Figure 28).
