Trouble on an Accessory
Step 11.
Connect the modular terminal cord into the adapter.
Step 12.
Connect the power supply into the ac outlet.
Step 13.
Proceed to Test B for the accessory with trouble.
TEST B:
FOR ACCESSORIES ATTACHED TO A VOICE TER-
MINAL
Step 1.
Make certain that the accessory is securely plugged into the jack labeled
OTHER
on the bottom of the voice terminal. If the trouble remains, go
on to Step 2.
Step 2.
Unplug the accessory from the voice terminal.
Step 3.
Move the accessory to a second voice terminal. Plug it into the jack
labeled
OTHER
on the bottom of the voice terminal. Use the accessory to
see if the same trouble appears.
IF
THEN
The same trouble appears on the
Trouble found.
It is caused by
accessory,
the
accessory or accessory cord.
Read the section on Maintenance
Exchange Procedures at the end of
this manual.
The same trouble does not appear
Go on to Step 4.
on the accessory,
Step 4.
Move the accessory back to the first voice terminal. Plug it into the jack
labeled
OTHER
on the bottom of the voice terminal. Use the accessory to
determine if the trouble remains.
IF
THEN
The trouble remains,
Trouble found.
It is caused by
the original
voice terminal.
